About Me
Welcome. I'm glad you found your way here.
I believe the best stories aren't the ones we tell—they're the ones we live.
Mine has taken me from ski hills and mountain bike trails to boardrooms, stages, and pages. It has taken me through unimaginable loss, unexpected joy, and the lifelong adventure of becoming more fully myself.
I'm a mother to two incredible sons. I'm a skier chasing fresh powder, a golfer after that one amazing shot, a mountain biker riding into sunsets, and a traveler who feels most at home when the road ahead is unknown and my van, Mo, is pointed toward something new.
But more than anything, I'm curious about what makes us come alive.
For years, I searched for happiness in achievement, relationships, certainty, and the next destination. Then life handed me a lesson I never would have chosen. In 2013, I lost my husband. Grief stripped away everything I thought I knew about strength, identity, and purpose.
What remained was something far more valuable.
The realization that our greatest source of energy, peace, and confidence has never existed outside of us. That discovery became the foundation for everything I do.
I write, speak, coach, and create experiences that help people reconnect with themselves. Not because I have all the answers, but because I've spent years learning the courage it takes to ask better questions.
Questions like:
-
What if your worth was never something you had to earn?
-
What if the life you're searching for is already waiting beneath the noise?
-
What if the relationship you've been neglecting is the one with yourself?
In 2024, I published my first book, Full Speed in Reverse: Awakening Self-Worth, Happiness, and Purpose, a reflection on loss, resilience, and the surprising freedom that comes from trusting yourself again.
Happy Amy was born from that same belief.
This is a place for people who want to slow down long enough to hear their own heart. A place to recharge, reflect, grow, and remember who they are beneath the expectations, responsibilities, and stories they've carried for too long.
Whether you're here for inspiration, conversation, coaching, or simply a reminder that you're not alone, I hope you find something that helps you move closer to yourself.
Because the most powerful life isn't built on external validation. It's built from within.
And when you learn how to trust yourself, love yourself, and recharge yourself, everything changes.
You are worth it.
