Tempting you Tuesday

Do you have a goal that you want to accomplish? A bucket-list item that you want to check off? Have you ever written a goal down and did everything it took to achieve it? Simply yearning for what you want, rarely provides results. I tempt you today, to write a goal down that would give you true satisfaction. Then below it, break it down into the parts that you will need to complete it. A clear, written plan can be the difference between wanting it and achieving it. After you make your plan, be aware of the biggest and strongest enemy that you will face going toward your goal – it’s you. You will be your toughest critic. You will tell yourself why you can’t achieve it. You will be the one who makes excuses. You will be your biggest road-block. Our minds are the decision-makers of what we can, and cannot accomplish. But remember, you’ve done it before - so do it again! I tempt you to set a goal in motion, and don’t stop until it is complete. When your mind starts talking you out of it, tell it that you’ve got me in your corner. I believe in you! Tell it that YOU believe in you! You are the only one who can make your goal a reality. If you start today, you will be one day closer to finishing.
