WHO ASKED YOU ANYWAY WEDNESDAY

One of my favorite things to do is find a better way for people to do things. I love making people's lives easier, better, and more satisfying. But, sadly there is a down-side to making things too easy for others. Honestly, easy street doesn’t get anyone anywhere. It's the tough times in life that make people stronger. It's the times we struggle, that we grow the most. This topic brings up the word "comfort." Personally, I am not a fan of being "comfortable." To me, comfort is when life get's predictable, the same things happen continuously, and boredom sets in. I realize that there aren't many people out there, like me; who crave change. Most people view change as scary, unknown, and ultimately risky. I disagree. Change is where life get's interesting. Change takes you swiftly out of a comfort zone and propels you into endless opportunities. Life becomes your responsibility. You get to shape it, design it, and the best part: it's limitless! Some great questions to ask yourself: Are you living the life of your dreams? Are you happy? Are you waking up and doing what your heart desires? Do you find that you're time is being used wisely?

I've asked myself those questions numerous times in my life. When I've come up with dissatisfaction, I ask myself, What would I like to change? What do I have control over changing? Where can I put my energy so I'm using it in the most effective way? What might I regret 1 year, 5 years, or 10 years from now? Yes, change is an equal opportunity provider - meaning that changes don't simply effect you. Change effects everyone in our lives. But, instead of being afraid of what could go wrong, why not turn it around and become curious about what could go right. I also believe when we are living our lives being extremely genuine, everyone benefits.

I am inspired by a man named, Neville Goddard who's teachings suggest that we die 1,000 times in our lives. What does that mean? It means that our bodies, brains, and souls weren't meant to be one way for 100 years. We were designed to grow, to change, to learn, and to expand. I love this perspective! It gives curiosity, opportunity, and even struggle a super-power! It brings a fresh, new meaning to change! It makes comfort seem like a waste of time, as if you are sitting on a smelly couch; with your best clothes on. Are you dressed and ready to get up and do something new with your life? If you've been thinking about it, now just might be the time... Some will be inspired by this message, others may simply say: who asked you anyway? Frankly, no one asked. But, it's now up to you, what you do with it. Life wasn't designed for us to coast on easy street. Get up, get dressed and take the high road... Yes, the journey may be harder, but I promise the view from the top will ABSOLUTELY be worth it!
